Exquisite workmanship, circa 1900, this long guard chain is solid 18k gold and is 62" long. It has an intricate chain connected by navette shaped links that are spaced every 3/4 of an inch. Each navette has an engraved frame-like detail and is approximately 3/8" at its widest. It appears to be unmarked but has tested as 18k. It is in excellent condition, and the overall weight is 52 grams. The chain has a fairly large spring ring clasp that can be utilized with most any type of fob, pendant or locket. In the last picture, it is showcased with our citrine fob, item #J1820.
